You are invited to join the Peoria Chapter of the ACLU of Illinois for their 59th annual meeting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held via Zoom, on Tuesday, July 28th beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting includes presentation of awards and the election of officers for the next year.
The Sam Belfer Award will be presented to the Peoria Chapter of Medical Students for Choice and The David Citron Award will be given to Ken Hofbauer.
Officers and directors offered as a slate:
Officers: Elaine Hopkins, president; Anthony Reynolds, vice president; Cheryl Hofbauer, secretary; Ken Hofbauer, treasurer.
Board members: For re-appointment – Terry Matthews, Jeffrey Johnson, Marilyn Copp, and Yolanda Riley. New board nominees – For two year terms – Doug Day and Kristen Meierkord; For one year terms – Candace Whitman, Kelly Krainak, and Heather McMeekan.
Nominations from the floor will be considered.
